Pick Your Path –Ninja

“I shall return the statue to the temple, Uncle” you reply.

“Fine then”, Takahashi says as he passes you a map of Echi’s estate. “But you must leave at once!”

You rapidly change into your black Ninja clothing, and strap on your sword. As you stand by the door and put on your sandals, your Uncle says, “Remember to stay in the shadows! Good Luck!”

The estate of Echi the Cruel is on the edge of town, and you waste no time hurrying toward it. There’s only one guard at the gate, and he’s fast asleep. Amateurs! You scale the wall and find yourself in a sumptuous rock garden. Staying in the shadows, you sneak past wandering servants and toward the main house. According to the map, Echi is probably keeping the stolen statue in his personal quarters on the second floor of the house.

You peer at the house from behind a rock. It’s completely dark, except for a light coming from a window on the top floor – Echi’s room, undoubtedly. In order to get up there, you must either sneak into the house – which is quieter but longer - or climb up to Echi’s room – which quicker but puts you at risk of being seen.
