Killer Space Monkeys

“Maybe firing my Blaster into the haze without even seeing where the Space Monkeys are is a bad idea”, you think to yourself. “I’ll hide under a body, see where they’re going, and try to trap them somewhere”.

Your stomach turns as you hide under the still-warm body of a Space Monkey. You hear the sound of marching and Space Monkey shrieks get louder – then almost ear-splitting -  as they pass you. Your heart is pounding like a drum and you nearly pee your pants….but they continue on without noticing you. Your plan worked!

Giving yourself some distance, you trail the Space Monkeys down the corridor. They seem to be pretty excited about successfully invading your ship and don’t seem to be noticing you sneaking around behind them. As they pass by the ship’s airlock, you fire your Blaster at the control panel, forcing the airlock to open – and sucking the Space Monkeys into the frozen wastes of space! The suction nearly pulls you in, but you stagger to a bulkhead door and seal the corridor off.

As you stand panting by the door, the captain and the remaining crew members run up to you. “You’ve done it kid! You’ve saved us from the Space Monkeys”, says the captain as he pats you on the back.

“HOORAY FOR THE COOK!” yell the crew as they lift you up on to their shoulders.
