Hmm... maybe you can manage to hang out with Rihanna at the bowling alley for a while, then stop by to say a quick hello to Stacey when you’re done. As long as she doesn’t see you before, everything should be fine. Once you arrive, you’re relieved to see that Rihanna and her entourage are bowling in a reserved, private area. There’s no way Stacey will see you until you’re ready to see her. You’re having a great time until…
“Let’s go and sign some autographs!” Rihanna decides. “Some
fans saw me, and I don’t want to disappoint them. I’m sure they’d
love to get your autograph, too!”
You’re certain they would. And maybe Stacey’s party is over
by now. You walk out with Rihanna, and a group of fans shove CDs, bowling
alley score sheets, and scraps of paper at both of you, wanting autographs.
You blindly take the first one and ask “What’s your name?”
The answer chills you to the bone: “Stacey.”
“Stacey, look, I’m sorry, but…” Stacey leaves the bowling alley before you can explain. For the next half hour you shakily sign autographs, wondering how much you can afford the price of fame.
