You know that you don’t want to spend the day waiting in line to get junk food. So you say “later” to your friends and go off to see what’s going on by yourself. You take it easy, just enjoying the breeze and watching all the scantily dressed people go by. Up ahead, you see a big group of people milling around. You decide to check it out. As you get closer you see that there are all sorts of photographers and cameramen around. You flag down a guy holding a coil of wire and ask what’s going on.
You find out that a movie is being filmed. You don’t usually bother with all that Hollywood stuff; after all you grew up in New York, so you’ve seen movie shoots before. But you decide to hang out for a minute, just to see what’s going on. Someone taps you on the shoulder. A tall guy with a fake orange tan and a black t-shirt introduces himself as Phil. He explains that one of the actors with a small part has food poisoning from eating some tainted hotdogs. He asks you would mind being in the film? You apparently have the same height and build as the person who got sick. They will pay you $500, and you will even have a few lines.
You figure “Why Not”? There’s no need to deprive the world of your natural abilities any longer. You agree to do it. Who Knows? Maybe this could be the beginning of a new career!
