How to Change Your Look

  • Pick a signature color. If you always wear dark, go for a bright color. Get some in different shades and wear something in that color every day.
  • Raid your mom’s closet for vintage looks. Go to mom or grandma and ask to see old photos, ask how they dressed back in the day and emulate one element of it.
  • Get a haircut or color … the quickest way to a new you.
  • Repurpose your kid stuff. Go back to your favorite lunchbox and make it your new purse. Find your favorite shirt and cut out the design and sew it onto a new jacket. Sew up a skirt into a purse. Keep your old self in your new style.
