Queens Library announces the winner of its Summer Reading Name Our 2008 Mascot contest: Pritika Venkatraman. Her grand prize-winning submission was “Readaleena.”
Cute as the lady bug she named to claim top Queens Library contest prize, 5-year-old Pritika Venkatraman shows off a butterfly costume, a gift from the Library, at the Forest Hills Children’s Room on a recent weekday where she and her family enjoy Summer Reading Club activities. The Library’s selection of the winning name was based on originality, appropriateness and creativity.
