  • Book of Choices: New York Resources for Unplanned Pregnancy describes resources available in New York State that help women with unplanned pregnancy. Includes information on preventing pregnancy, the options available when experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, ending a pregnancy, choosing adoption, becoming a parent, and how to pay for care.
  • The North American Menopause Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting women's health during midlife and beyond through an understanding of menopause. This site contains information on perimenopause, early menopause, menopause symptoms and long-term health effects of estrogen loss, and a wide variety of therapies to enhance health.
  • The Center Against Domestic Violence operates shelters to house and feed women and children who are homeless because of domestic violence. In addition, they provide supportive services, including counseling and children's programs, to battered women and children.
  • The Women's Rights Division of Human Rights Watch fights against the dehumanization and marginalization of women, promoting equal rights and human dignity, and taking action to stop discrimination and violence against women.
